New Monthly 'Intro to Mambo' Class Ola Nowacka
Two Dean David GBrewers - Weds 31st March
 
Aimed at Advanced and Intermediate dancers, we are introducing a NEW 'Intro to Mambo' Class for those new or in the early stages of dancing Mambo/On2.

7.30pm: Only £8 (this class will be instead of the regular Advanced Class)

We have the fabulous Dean David G guest teaching and Ola Nowacka for this class to address for both male/female roles equally.

'Baywatch' Showcase with Laith Sami Performance Group
Wednesday 31st March

Yes, not only do we have a Special Mambo Class tomorrow, we have the brand NEW show from the 'Laith Sami Performance Group', who went down a storm at the  Christmas Party last year.
 
The new's shows theme is 'Baywatch', yes 'BAYWATCH!' so, that should be 'interesting'! But, no bikinis or thongs apparently.
 
'BaywatchLSPG' are a student group who only train for 2 hours a week for 10 weeks to bring a show together; it's an enormous achievement, so please come down and support them.

Haiti Hospital Appeal
Haiti Fundraisers
20th & 22nd April

Thanks to the efforts of Dani & Ozy and many other Salsa promoters, teachers and performers an extraordinary £17 247.50 was raised at the February 5th Fundraiser, so a belated thank you to the generousity of all the London-Salsa people who supported the event.

However, we all know that there is still much more that still needs to be done to help:

Our regular student Hannah is raising money for Haiti Hospital where she will be volunteering for six months to buy the necessary equipment to create a rehabilitation unit..MORE (FaceBook Link)

20th April - There will be a special party at Abacus with a surprise dance show. There will also be a raffle, prices including two free passes for six months to Abacus salsa classes
 
22nd April - Hannah will host a special fund raising salsa event at Tito's. Four levels of classes with Laura, Steve, Dani and Ozy who will also DJ all night. MORE (FaceBook Link)

Haiti Hospital Appeal Wesbite
1-Day Bachata Workshop

Bachata is a romantic & sensual style of Latin dance originating from the Dominican Republic, based on a 4/4 rhythm. Bachata is now well established, along with the up-coming Kizomba, as the 'alternative' dance in most Salsa clubs. 
 
Two fantastic workshops in one day for those new to Bachata and for those with a bit more experience.
 
Take one or both workshops in the same day!
